AMA (NSW) Registrar Research Grant 2012

In March 2012 AMA (NSW) will be awarding a registrar research grant of $5,000 to the doctor conducting the best research project in NSW.

The successful applicant will be announced at the AMA (NSW) / Investec Medical Finance Doctors-in-Training Black & White Ball on 3 March 2012.

AMA members who are accredited registrars on a College training program and who are undertaking, or about to undertake, a research project in accordance with the requirements of their College are eligible to apply.

Applications should be posted or delivered to:

Applications should include the following information:

  1. Personal details – name, qualifications, contact details, CV, etc.
  2. Research project details – title, key words, lay summary.
  3. Aims and significance of the project.
  4. Research plan.
  5. Budget plan, including details of any other funding support granted or being sought.
  6. Names and contact details of referees (including project supervisor)

Applicants may be required to attend an interview.

The AMA (NSW) Doctors-in-Training Awards will also be presented at the AMA (NSW) / Investec Doctors-in-Training Black & White Ball on 3 March 2012.
