AMA (NSW) Creative Doctors Network - Membership
Role of the AMA
AMA has supported the CDN, since its inception, keenly monitoring its growth and development. From the outset the CDN quickly established itself as a much-needed creative outlet for doctors. Not surprisingly the CDN database expanded rapidly, capturing the imagination of doctors Australia-wide and attracting extensive media interest.
The CDN is subsumed by AMA (NSW) and through it the AMA offers AMA members a unique opportunity to further explore and nurture their creative interests. All CDN meetings are held at the Conference Centre at AMA House, St Leonards.
Whether your interest is at the curiosity stage or at a fully professional level, CDN aims to help doctors nurture their creativity. To receive news about our upcoming creative themed nights, Doc Art Festival, or other activities, please contact us via email and request to be added to the CDN database.
NOTE: You don't have to be an AMA Member to be part of the CDN.
Any medical practitioner or medical student can join the CDN. However, the benefit to AMA Members is that they get substantial discounts to attend our events - AMA members pay $10, while non-AMA members pay $25 at the door.
If you decide to join the AMA there is an additional benefit to the CDN. There exists an AMA incentive that allows new members to direct a 25 per cent rebate of their first annual membership payment to CDN by nominating "Creative Doctors Network" as the reason for joining (i.e. referring a new member). This rebate helps fund CDN’s many projects and activities.
