The Doctors-in-Training Awards and $5,000 Research Grant

The Doctors-in-Training Awards will also be presented on the night in the categories of Doctor-in-Training of the Year, Doctor-in-Training Volunteer of the Year and Supervisor of the Year.

Nominations for the Doctors-in-Training Awards have now closed.

AMA (NSW) will also be awarding a Registrar Research Grant of $5,000 to the doctor conducting the best research project in NSW.

Adam Spencer to MC

ABC breakfast radio host, Adam Spencer, will be the MC for the evening.

The "Best Speaker in the World" (according to the World University Debating Championships) is a talented broadcaster, comedian and author who also holds a first class honours degree in pure mathematics.

Here at AMA (NSW) we're thrilled that he's agreed to join us for the Ball.

Hairstylists at the Venue

Hairstylists will be available to complete your look on the night of the Ball for free and it will take place at the venue – Crystal Palace at Luna Park. This is a great opportunity if you are working on the day of the Ball or are time poor but still want to have your hair looking great for the night.

You will need to arrive with washed and dried hair then all you have to do is let the stylists work their magic. While this is a free service it is by appointment only and places are strictly limited, so be quick to book your place now with our Events Manager, Janene Wardrop.

After Party

AMA (NSW) has organised an after party following the Ball at the Deck which is right next to the Crystal Palace. When the Ball ends you will only need to take a couple of steps if you want to keep the party going.
