August 12, 2021Please join us in showing our appreciation for aged care and healthcare workers, as well as the medical admin staff who support them.
“I recognise the sacrifices that all NSW residents are making in this outbreak, and as an organisation we want to extend our gratitude to the frontline healthcare workers who continue to put patient care first,” said AMA (NSW) President, Dr Danielle McMullen.
“I also want to acknowledge medical admin staff who are largely unsung heroes in this crisis.
“Without their support, many medical practitioners would not be able to keep their doors open or the healthcare system running smoothly.”
If you’re thankful for healthcare workers and the medical staff who support them, you are invited to show your appreciation by standing at noon today, Friday 30 July and clapping for one minute (in a location that is safe and socially distanced and in line with the restrictions in your area).
