Ahead of the 2023 NSW Election, AMA (NSW) is hosting a discussion with candidates who have unique insight into the health system. AMA (NSW) President, Dr Michael Bonning will be joined by:

- Dr Joe McGirr, MP for Wagga Wagga, Independent candidate, specialist in emergency medicine and medical administration
- Dr Amanda Cohn, Greens candidate for NSW Upper House, general practitioner in Albury-Wodonga
- Dr Jason Bendall, Independent candidate for Myall Lakes, Anaesthetist and Prehospital & Retrieval Physician
These candidates will discuss solutions for a State health system that is under severe stress, with a special look at the challenges facing rural and regional communities.
