What doctors at this hospital are saying

What do you value most about your hospital?

“Friendly atmosphere, supportive and approachable senior clinicians.”

“Generally a collegial environment from consultant to JMO. All unrostered overtime is paid.”

“Fellows in my specialty are reliable and nice. Good collegiality among surgical registrars. Hospital readily approves overtime worked.”

If you could change three things at your hospital what would they be?

“More staff parking, healthy meal options, more flexibility with schedule.”

“Improving computer availability and JMO office space on wards, specifically the older tower ward block. Often have tiny offices with no windows for 3+ doctors, and not many extra computers at the nurses station. Recently after hours has been quite busy on public holidays – a float JMO would be appreciated for these times.”

“Overtime roster needs to be more equitable between trainees (BPT, AT) and departments – several departments doing disproportionately high amount of overtime work especially with COVID.”
